Today, wake up early for breakfast and meet your guide for a short briefing before departing for Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s oldest conservation areas. Enjoy a long but scenic journey through Northern Uganda, passing rural homesteads and diverse landscapes with vast, flat terrain, offering a beautiful glimpse of the countryside along the way.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, antelopes, and many bird species across the savannah, woodland, and grasslands. This private drive can be tailored with your guide. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Nile to the base of the falls, passing hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and abundant birdlife. Optionally, hike to the top of the falls for stunning views before returning to your lodge via a slow game drive, with time to relax in the evening.
After an early breakfast, enjoy an en-route game drive in Murchison Falls National Park and visit the powerful Top of the Falls, where the Nile forces through a narrow gorge. Optionally hike to the base, then continue through scenic countryside toward Kibale National Park. On arrival, explore a lush rainforest home to 12 primate species, including red-tailed monkeys, colobus, baboons, and blue monkeys, plus rich birdlife like the great blue turaco. You may also spot forest elephants. Later, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Kibale National Park (Chimps)
In the morning, transfer to park headquarters for briefing before chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, home to 13 primate species including chimpanzees, plus vervet, blue and colobus monkeys. The trek lasts 2–4 hours depending on movement, with one hour spent observing and photographing chimpanzees as your guide explains their behavior. Return for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour Bigodi Wetland walk for birds and primates, then return to lodge for dinner and overnight.
Kibale National Park (Chimps)
After a relaxed breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic crater lake views en route. Stop at the Equator Line in Uganda for photos before continuing to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, choose between an evening game drive in the Kasenyi sector or relaxing at the lodge.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, antelopes, and diverse birdlife. Return for lunch, then take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and water birds. Later, enjoy a short game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After early breakfast, check out and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via a scenic route, arriving at your lodge for late lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking. Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to over 400 gorillas and 350+ bird species. Its dense forest offers a unique wildlife experience, best visited in the dry season for trekking and birding.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)
Early morning coffee, then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing before gorilla trekking. Enter the forest with a packed lunch and spend one hour observing the gorillas. The trek may take 2–6 hours and requires moderate fitness. Return to the lodge for lunch, then relax or enjoy an optional Batwa cultural visit before dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and jump into your jeep, find your way back to Entebbe, which is roughly an 8 hour’s drive back, depending on traffic jams along the way. You will enjoy an en route lunch along the way. You will reach in the afternoon, and transfer to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Deposits
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your safari. Gorilla trekking permits are invoiced and payable in full at confirmation, in addition to the 30% safari deposit. If your trip includes domestic or regional flights, the full airfare may also be required at the time of booking and is charged separately from the safari deposit.
Final Payment
The remaining safari balance is due 45 days before your departure date. For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required to confirm the booking, together with any applicable gorilla permit and flight costs.

Travel Insurance
All travelers are required to have adequate comprehensive travel and medical insurance for the entire trip, including coverage for medical expenses and repatriation. We also strongly recommend coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, emergency evacuation, and loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings. Travel insurance should be arranged independently by the traveler.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective once received by Bush 2 City Adventure.
Gorilla trekking permits and issued domestic or regional flight tickets are non-refundable once booked and confirmed. These costs are therefore excluded from any refund that may otherwise be due under the cancellation schedule above.
No refunds are provided for no-shows or unused services after the safari has commenced.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against eligible cancellation costs and other unforeseen circumstances.

International flights to and from Uganda are not included in your safari package and must be booked and managed directly by you. Bush 2 City Adventure can assist in recommending suitable international flight options that coordinate well with your safari itinerary; however, the final booking, payment and management of these flights remain your responsibility.
Bush 2 City Adventure is not responsible for international flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, schedule changes or other disruptions, even when we have assisted you in selecting a suitable flight, as these services are operated and controlled by third-party airlines.
Domestic & Regional Flights
Where your safari includes domestic or regional flights, Bush 2 City Adventure can arrange and book these flights on your behalf. Your confirmed flight itinerary and relevant travel information will be provided in advance.
You are responsible for complying with the operating airline’s checked baggage and carry-on luggage restrictions, including weight, size, and any restrictions applicable to soft-sided bags on smaller safari aircraft.
Airline schedules may change due to operational requirements, weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Where a domestic or regional flight is cancelled or significantly changed before travel, we will assist in arranging a suitable available alternative. However, once you have checked in or travel has commenced, delays, interruptions and cancellations remain subject to the airline’s conditions, and Bush 2 City Adventure cannot be held liable for disruptions caused by these third-party services.
Important Travel Responsibility
Please ensure that your international flight schedule allows sufficient time for immigration, baggage collection, customs, transfers and connections with your safari arrangements.
It is your responsibility to ensure that independently booked flights do not interfere with your confirmed safari itinerary. If a flight delay, cancellation, missed connection or unsuitable flight schedule results in additional accommodation, transfers, meals, rebooking, changes to the safari or other expenses, these additional costs will be the traveller’s responsibility.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that provides appropriate protection for flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, baggage and other travel disruptions.
Health Considerations
Travellers should be in reasonably good health to participate comfortably in a Uganda safari. If you have an existing medical condition, limited mobility, allergies or any condition that could affect your participation in safari activities, particularly gorilla or chimpanzee trekking, we recommend consulting your doctor before travelling and informing Bush 2 City Adventure in advance of any assistance you may require.
Medical facilities can be limited in remote safari areas. Please bring an adequate supply of your regular prescription medication in its original packaging and keep essential medication in your carry-on luggage.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including appropriate emergency treatment and medical evacuation/repatriation coverage.
Vaccinations & Malaria
A valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is an important entry requirement for Uganda. Current guidance states that Uganda requires proof of Yellow Fever vaccination for arriving travellers aged one year and above.
Malaria is present throughout Uganda. Travellers should consult their doctor or travel-health specialist about suitable malaria prevention medication and take precautions against mosquito bites, including using insect repellent and wearing long sleeves and trousers, particularly during evenings and early mornings.
Other vaccinations may be recommended depending on your age, health, vaccination history and travel plans. These can include routine vaccinations as well as Hepatitis A, Typhoid and other destination-specific vaccinations. We recommend consulting a qualified travel-health professional at least 4–6 weeks before departure whenever possible.

Gorilla & Chimpanzee Trekking Fitness
Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking can be physically demanding. Depending on the location of the primates, trekking may involve several hours of walking through steep, uneven, muddy or densely forested terrain, sometimes at altitude.
Travellers participating in trekking should have a reasonable level of fitness and mobility. Walking sticks and porter services may be available and can make the trek considerably more comfortable.
For the protection of the primates, travellers who are experiencing symptoms of an infectious illness may not be permitted to participate in a primate trek. Please follow the instructions provided by park authorities, rangers and your guide.
Mobility
Uganda safaris can involve long drives, uneven roads, climbing into and out of safari vehicles, boat activities and walking on uneven terrain. Some lodges and remote safari locations may have limited accessibility for travellers with significant mobility difficulties.
If you require a wheelchair, walking assistance, supplemental oxygen or other special assistance, please inform us before confirming your safari so that we can advise whether the planned itinerary and accommodations are suitable.
Special Dietary & Medical Requirements

Weather in Uganda
Uganda enjoys a pleasant tropical climate year-round, with warm days and cooler mornings and evenings. The drier seasons from June to August and December to February are particularly good for wildlife viewing and gorilla trekking.
The wetter seasons, from March to May and September to November, bring greener landscapes and excellent birdlife. Mountain areas such as Bwindi are cooler and can receive rain at any time of year, so a light rain jacket is always recommended.
What to Pack
Pack light, comfortable safari clothing in neutral colors, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring a light jacket or fleece for cooler mornings and evenings, along with a rain jacket, camera, binoculars, personal medication and essential travel documents.
For gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, we recommend sturdy waterproof walking shoes, long trousers, long-sleeved shirts, gardening gloves and a small waterproof daypack. Forest trails can be wet, muddy and steep, so lightweight rain protection is essential.
Keep valuables, important medication and travel documents in your carry-on luggage. Avoid bringing single-use plastic bags, as Uganda restricts certain plastic bags to help protect the environment.

Weather in Uganda
Uganda enjoys a pleasant tropical climate year-round, with warm days and cooler mornings and evenings. The drier seasons from June to August and December to February are particularly good for wildlife viewing and gorilla trekking.
The wetter seasons, from March to May and September to November, bring greener landscapes and excellent birdlife. Mountain areas such as Bwindi are cooler and can receive rain at any time of year, so a light rain jacket is always recommended.
What to Pack
Pack light, comfortable safari clothing in neutral colors, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring a light jacket or fleece for cooler mornings and evenings, along with a rain jacket, camera, binoculars, personal medication and essential travel documents.
For gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, we recommend sturdy waterproof walking shoes, long trousers, long-sleeved shirts, gardening gloves and a small waterproof daypack. Forest trails can be wet, muddy and steep, so lightweight rain protection is essential.
Keep valuables, important medication and travel documents in your carry-on luggage. Avoid bringing single-use plastic bags, as Uganda restricts certain plastic bags to help protect the environment.
