You'll start by going back to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda to catch your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, our team will be there to help you with everything and then take you by car to Hemingways Nairobi for your stay overnight.

Hemingways Nairobi is a beautiful boutique hotel in a peaceful part of Nairobi, with great views of the Ngong hills. It's designed for both people traveling for work and for fun. The hotel has 45 fancy suites, including special ones like the Hemingways suite and The Blixen suite. There's also a restaurant called Hemingways Nairobi Brasserie that serves great food all day.

In Nairobi, a big and lively city in East Africa, there's a lot to see and do. It's a great place to start safari trips in Kenya. Nairobi has cool cafes, fun nightlife, and interesting places like the National Museum and Karen Blixen Museum. And, it's really special because just 20 minutes from the city center, you can see wild lions and buffalo in the only game reserve in the world that's right in a city.

Start your adventure with a drive to Wilson Airport. From there, you'll fly for about an hour over beautiful landscapes to Mara Nyika’s Naboisho airstrip. The Great Plains team will be waiting for you when you land.

Mara Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya is a big, beautiful wilderness area next to Masai Mara National Reserve and other conservancies. It's home to lots of animals like lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and wild dogs. You can do fun things here like walk with guides, stay overnight in the wild, go on night drives to see animals that come out after dark, track lions, or visit local Maasai villages to learn about their culture.

Mara Nyika Camp is a small, special camp with only five tents and one family suite. The camp is in a valley with a stream and is surrounded by trees. It feels like a treehouse made of tents! Here, you can enjoy privacy and beautiful views of nature. Guests at Mara Nyika can explore the large Naboisho Conservancy and also go on longer trips to the Maasai Mara Reserve.

At Mara Nyika Camp, you can do different activities:

• >> Go on drives to see wildlife during the day or at night.
• >> Take photos with good cameras and binoculars provided in each tent. You get to keep the photos on a memory stick when you leave.
• >> Visit Maasai villages and learn about their way of life for a small fee.
• >> Take a hot air balloon ride for an extra cost.

Start with a morning drive, then relax with a delicious lunch back at the camp. In the afternoon, unwind in your tent before heading out for an evening drive, ending with a sundowner if the weather allows. Spend your evening relaxing at the camp, dining outdoors or by a campfire, and creating lasting memories.

After the drive, enjoy a hot lunch back at the camp, and then relax in your tent or explore the camp's facilities. Following your final morning of wildlife watching at Mara Nyika, you'll be taken to Naboisho Airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Nairobi Wilson. From there, a road transfer will bring you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
