This morning, fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. A mist-covered tangle of ancient treetops, twisting roots, and dense ferns, this remarkable rainforest is one of Africa’s richest and most diverse ecosystems. It is home to over 120 mammal species, including half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, some habituated for visitor encounters.

Spend an unforgettable hour observing them as they forage, play, and rest in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge to relax, or join a guided forest or community walk if time allows.
