Kigali (Rwanda)
After enjoying a relaxed breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you for a brief orientation. You’ll then embark on a short Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you’ll learn about the tragic events of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Following the tour, you’ll set off toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, crossing the Rwanda-Uganda border. The drive takes approximately 5 hours and includes an en route lunch. Upon arrival at your booked accommodation, you’ll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)
Start your day with an early morning coffee before attending a briefing by Ugandan officials. You'll then drive to the trekking start point for a short orientation before entering the jungle to begin your gorilla trek. After locating the gorillas, spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants up close. Gorilla trekking requires moderate fitness, walking shoes, packed food and water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hat. The trek may last half or a full day, depending on the gorillas' movements.
Afterward, meet your guide and return to the lodge for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge, taking a nature walk in Bwindi Forest, or enjoying a Batwa cultural experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)
Enjoy an early morning breakfast, meet your guide, and set off in your jeep for the journey back to Kigali. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch, and, depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your afternoon departure. End of service.
