Pick-up from your Zanzibar hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Mikumi National Park. On arrival, meet your driver-guide and enjoy a game drive across the Mkata Floodplain, followed by a hot lunch in the park. Continue with an afternoon game drive, then visit a traditional Maasai Boma before transferring to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, head out for a game drive across Mikumi’s Mkata Floodplain, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife. Stop for a hot lunch, then continue exploring the park, including the Hippo Pool, before transferring to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. On arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel.

Fly to/from Abeid Amani Karume Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar. Or fly to/from Dar es Salaam (DAR). There are daily ferries between Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar.
A transfer from and back to the airport is included
We cannot arrange additional accommodation before the tour begins or after the tour ends.

Deposits
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your safari. If your trip includes domestic or regional flights, the full airfare may be required at the time of booking and is charged separately from the safari deposit.
Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 45 days before your safari departure date. For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required to confirm the booking.
All bookings are subject to Bush 2 City Adventure’s Booking Terms & Conditions.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance immediately after booking to protect your safari investment. Your policy should cover trip cancellation/interruption, medical emergencies and evacuation, travel delays, lost or delayed baggage, and repatriation.
Insurance must be arranged independently in your home country. Providers such as Allianz, World Nomads, or Travel Guard may be considered, depending on your country and coverage needs.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective once received by Bush 2 City Adventure.
Issued domestic flight tickets are non-refundable, and no refunds are provided for no-shows. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against eligible cancellation costs.

Flights & Zanzibar Transfers
International flights are not included or booked by us and must be arranged by the traveler. We will book your domestic return flights between Zanzibar and Mikumi and provide you with a copy of the flight itinerary. We will also arrange return road transfers between your Zanzibar hotel and the airport.
You must be ready at the confirmed pickup time. If you are not available when our driver arrives, or if your delay causes you to miss the flight or arrive after check-in has closed, no refund or compensation will be provided. Any replacement flight or trip will be at your own cost and subject to availability. If no alternative is available, the booking will be treated as a no-show.
Health, Vaccinations & Fitness
Travelers should be in reasonably good health and consult their doctor or travel clinic before travelling to Tanzania, particularly regarding recommended vaccinations and malaria prevention. Tanzania is a malaria-risk destination, and anti-malaria medication should be discussed with a medical professional.
A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required only when applicable, such as when arriving from, or having a transit of more than 12 hours in, a yellow-fever-risk country. Travelers unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons should carry appropriate medical documentation.
Please advise us in advance of any dietary requirements, mobility limitations or medical considerations that could affect your safari. Safari travel may involve bumpy roads, warm conditions, climbing in and out of safari vehicles, and travel in remote areas with limited medical facilities.
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet the health and vaccination requirements applicable to their journey.

Weather in Mikumi
Mikumi National Park has a generally warm climate throughout the year. The dry season from June to October brings sunny days, little rainfall, and comfortable temperatures of around 28°C (82°F) during the day and 17°C (63°F) at night. The wet season runs from November to May, with warmer, more humid conditions and occasional afternoon showers; March and April are typically the wettest months.
The dry season is particularly good for wildlife viewing, while the wet season offers lush green scenery and excellent birdlife.
What to Pack
Pack light, comfortable safari clothing in neutral colors, comfortable shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Bring a light jacket for cooler mornings, along with your camera, binoculars, personal medication, and essential travel documents. Keep valuables and important medication in your carry-on luggage.
For Zanzibar, dress modestly when away from beaches and resorts.
