Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. After a safari briefing, settle in and relax ahead of your adventure. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Arusha’s lively markets, visit a local museum, or sample Tanzanian cuisine. Set beneath Mount Meru, this vibrant city offers a welcoming introduction to local life and is the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

After breakfast, begin your half-day excursion with a coffee tour, learning how coffee is grown, harvested and prepared before tasting a freshly brewed cup. Continue with a guided tour of Arusha, exploring its lively streets and local markets for a glimpse of everyday life. Return to the coffee lodge for lunch in the gardens. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace—relax by the pool, stroll through the grounds or simply unwind.

After breakfast, depart Arusha in your private 4x4 safari vehicle and drive to Elewana Tarangire Treetops Lodge. Check in to your Vintage Treehouse, your home for the next two nights, and enjoy lunch before heading into Tarangire National Park for an afternoon game drive. Explore landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees as you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. The Tarangire River attracts many animals, particularly during the dry season, offering rewarding wildlife viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Set out early for a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, exploring its baobab-studded landscapes as the wildlife becomes active. Look out for elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, and predators, with your guide sharing insights into the animals you encounter. Return to the lodge for lunch and time to relax before your afternoon game drive. Explore more of the park, including the Tarangire River, which draws wildlife during the dry season. Later, return to Elewana Tarangire Treetops for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart Tarangire with your private driver-guide for a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a game drive of approximately 3.5 hours en route to andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, looking out for elephants, baboons and the park’s elusive tree-climbing lions. Settle into your stilted treehouse suite for a two-night stay, with an ensuite bathroom, outdoor shower and private viewing deck overlooking the forest. Your stay includes three daily meals, beverages, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives, and laundry service.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge before an afternoon bicycle ride through the nearby Mayoka community with your lodge guide. Explore the village, meet local residents and learn about everyday life before continuing toward the lakeshore, where you may spot flamingos and other waterbirds. After dinner, set out on a night game drive to discover a different side of Lake Manyara. With your guide, search for nocturnal wildlife and watch for predators becoming active after dark before returning to the lodge.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through Lake Manyara National Park toward the exit gate, then continue to Gibb’s Farm in the Karatu highlands. Settle into your cottage and enjoy lunch overlooking the gardens. Spend the afternoon at your own pace, relaxing on your private terrace or strolling through the lush grounds. Set on a working coffee farm, the lodge offers a peaceful setting to unwind, with spacious cottages and artwork reflecting East African culture. Dinner and overnight at Gibb’s Farm.

After an early breakfast at Gibb’s Farm, depart with your private driver-guide and packed lunch for the Ngorongoro Crater. Pause at the rim to admire the sweeping views before descending to the crater floor for a morning game drive. Explore open grasslands, acacia woodland and wetlands in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas and the elusive black rhino. Along the way, watch hippos in the pools and enjoy the striking scenery beneath the steep crater walls. Your guide will share insights into this remarkable ecosystem, with time to observe and photograph the wildlife. Enjoy your packed lunch at a designated picnic site before returning to Gibb’s Farm for a relaxed afternoon, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at Gibb’s Farm, transfer to Manyara Airstrip for your flight to the Serengeti. On arrival, meet your camp’s driver-guide and begin exploring in an open-sided safari vehicle, enjoying a game drive en route to camp. Settle in, enjoy lunch, and take time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the sweeping plains in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife, with your guide sharing insights into the animals and their surroundings. The open-sided vehicle offers wide views and excellent opportunities for photography. As the afternoon light softens across the plains, pause to appreciate the scenery before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Set out for a morning game drive in your open-sided safari vehicle, searching for lions, leopards, elephants and cheetahs. Return to camp for lunch and relaxation before exploring more of the Serengeti on an afternoon game drive. End the day with sundowner drinks at a stunning rocky lookout, taking in sweeping views as the sun sets over the plains. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before returning for breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha, where lunch and a day room await at Arusha Planet Lodge. Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Alternatively, extend your journey with a Kenya safari or a Zanzibar beach stay, arranged at an additional cost.
