Following breakfast in Nairobi, we fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). We then take an onward flight directly to Tarangire National Park, home to vast elephant herds and rare fringe-eared oryx. Arrive at the beautifully designed Tarangire Elephant Spring Lodge. After exploring the iconic acacia landscapes on an afternoon game drive, enjoy dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Tarangire National Park (Tanzania)
Our exciting day begins with a morning game drive in Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds. We then ascend to the Crater Highlands for an early afternoon lunch at the serene, view-rich O’ldeani Mountain Lodge. From here, we prepare to explore the fabled Ngorongoro Crater. Once a gigantic volcano, this natural, unbroken caldera is now a UNESCO World Heritage sanctuary, hosting over 25,000 animals (including the Big Five) in one of Africa's most concentrated wildlife areas. The late afternoon is dedicated to leisure at the lodge, followed by dinner and overnight at O’ldeani.
Ngorongoro Crater (Tanzania)
After breakfast, we take the scenic route from The Manor to the majestic Ngorongoro Crater rim. Our day is dedicated to an immersive game drive on the crater floor, exploring the vast caldera of this now 'mellow' volcano, which sustains an astounding concentration of wildlife. A picturesque picnic lunch is provided at a viewing spot, often with views of hippos. We conclude the day by returning to the lodge for a relaxing leisure period before dinner and overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Crater (Tanzania)
After a profound visit to Olduvai Gorge, the "Cradle of Mankind," we descend to the spectacular Serengeti National Park. Here, you will witness the largest collection of illustrious African mammals—from elephant herds and muscular zebras to elusive serval cats—all unconcerned by our presence. We conclude our thrilling game drive at the beautiful Serengeti Explorer lodge, perched on an escarpment. A classic sundowner on the limitless plains offers the perfect finale as the day cools and great, magnificent clouds build in the vast sky.
Serengeti National Park (Tanzania)
Following breakfast, we embark on an immersive, all-day exploration of the Serengeti National Park. Our expert game drives track the formidable Big Cats, leveraging the region's renown for the world's highest concentration of lions. We actively pursue sightings of vast elephant herds and witness the dramatic theatre of the Great Migration. Return to the beautiful Serengeti Explorer lodge for a hot, restorative lunch. Our afternoon drive culminates in a classic sundowner experience, enjoying elegant drinks beneath magnificent golden skies before a superb dinner and overnight stay.
