Kalinzu Forest’s visitor center is located along the Mbarara–Kasese road, approximately 350 km (215 mi) from Kampala, with a driving time of about 7 hours*. The reserve is easily accessible for a half-day excursion from Ishaka (around 22 km / 13 mi south) or from most lodges and camps in and around Queen Elizabeth National Park.
