The next day, you start a private safari in your own jeep, where you can explore at your own pace and watch the wildlife for as long as you want.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park in the west with a lunch packed for your game drive. The park is known for its big elephant herds and large baobab trees, which are important for elephants in the dry season. The Tarangire River also attracts many elephants and other animals. After breakfast, go for a morning safari in Lake Manyara National Park, nestled between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. This park is diverse, with a lake, dense rainforest full of monkeys and birds, elephants in the woodlands, and a hippo pool with hippos bathing all day. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for lunch, relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, we'll depart for the heart of the Central Serengeti, where we'll enjoy a picnic lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. You'll have the opportunity to spot the iconic Big Five – lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceroses. Keep an eye out for other incredible wildlife such as cheetahs, hyenas, and wildebeest, which make the Serengeti truly exceptional. As the sun begins to set, we'll return to camp for relaxation, enjoy a campfire, dinner, and a good night's sleep.
