Alternatively, you have the option to embark on a hot air balloon safari, an exhilarating adventure that offers you a bird's-eye view of the action below, culminating in a champagne breakfast amidst the wildlife on the plains.

Following this, you'll head back to your lodge for a late breakfast. Afterward, you'll pack a picnic lunch and venture out for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara.

The Masai Mara's ecosystem is home to over 95 species of animals, including vast herds of elephants and buffaloes roaming the plains, hippos inhabiting the Mara's muddy rivers, Masai giraffes, topis, Grant's and Thompson's gazelles, zebras, a multitude of Nile crocodiles, as well as blue and red-tailed monkeys and tree hyraxes. The presence of numerous herbivores makes it a prime hunting territory for predators, thereby providing a perfect habitat for Kenya's renowned big cats.

After your breakfast, you'll embark on a game drive in the Kogatende region. Here, you'll search the rocky outcrops, known as kopjes, for predators and witness vast herds gearing up for a monumental challenge: crossing the Mara River into Kenya.

The Mara River, with its dense populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles, stands as the final hurdle for the Wildebeest Migration on its journey to the Masai Mara's safer pastures. If you're both patient and fortunate, you may witness the awe-inspiring sight of wildebeests and zebras braving the river's swift currents and crocodiles, all in a desperate bid for survival on the far bank.

On this journey, expect to see a wide array of wildlife, from the elusive dik-diks to the majestic elephants and everything in between.

The Seronera region is often referred to as the 'big cat country' for good reason. Its landscape of kopjes (rocky outcrops) and acacia trees create the perfect backdrop for spotting lions lounging in the sun, cheetahs embarking on a hunt, and leopards perched high up, surveying their domain.

Additionally, the area's hippo pools and vast expanses are ideal for game viewing, offering chances to see a variety of animals in their natural habitat.
