Day 1: Arrive At Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your personal Bush 2 City guide, who will escort you directly to your hotel for some relaxation and a chance to soak in the African ambiance. The following day begins your unique, private safari adventure. You'll have the freedom to explore at your leisure in your own safari jeep, pausing to observe the wildlife for as long as you wish.

If your arrival didn't leave time for a safari briefing yesterday, it'll happen after breakfast today. We'll share all you need to know before heading to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey from Arusha unveils Tanzania's vibrant life and landscapes, including Maasai herdsmen. At Lake Manyara, you'll experience a diverse ecosystem against the Rift Valley backdrop, from flamingos in the alkaline waters to forest-dwelling monkeys and other wildlife. After exploring and lunch, we'll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Mto wa Mbu Manyara
Day 3: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Walk and Local Hot Lunch

After breakfast, embark on a cultural exploration of Mto wa Mbu village, where you'll interact with people from all Tanzanian tribes, offering a unique insight into their lives. Visit their homes, markets, see Tingatinga paintings, farms, and schools. Gifts like stationery or clothes for children are appreciated, especially at the orphanage center for donations. Enjoy a local lunch, then return to the lodge for leisure.

After leaving Lake Manyara, we head to Serengeti National Park on a scenic 5-hour drive. The journey offers a transition from bustling towns to the Serengeti's endless plains, promising a safari filled with diverse wildlife encounters. Known for the Great Migration, the Serengeti is home to thousands of lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and wild dogs, alongside other majestic animals. Together with your guide, you'll discover these natural wonders before returning to camp for dinner and rest, ready for more adventures the next day.

Exploring the Serengeti feels like the wildlife comes to you, with each day's sightings being a surprise. The animals, including big cats like cheetahs, leopards, and lions, follow their own unpredictable schedules. The Central Serengeti's landscapes, from the Seronera River nourishing diverse species to ancient kopjes providing shelter for lions and smaller creatures, offer endless discovery. These rock formations, some 600 million years old, add to the Serengeti's unique terrain. After a day of adventure, we return to camp for dinner and rest.

After a morning exploring the Serengeti and enjoying lunch, we'll spend the afternoon traveling 145km southeast to Ngorongoro, taking about 3.5 hours. Before this, we'll embark on another game drive in the Serengeti, seeking out its diverse wildlife. Heading towards Ngorongoro, we'll be struck by the Serengeti's vast landscapes and pass iconic sites like Simba Kopjes. At Naabi Hill Gate, you'll have the chance to enjoy panoramic views and spot wildlife before arriving at our lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Our early morning safari starts in the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, offering a close encounter with diverse habitats, from the lush Lerai Forest to the swamps frequented by aging elephants. Recognized as one of Africa's seven natural wonders, the crater is a haven for an incredible density of wildlife, including lions, zebras, buffalos, and the elusive black rhino, all set against breathtaking landscapes. After a day filled with awe-inspiring views and wildlife, we'll head back to our lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Following breakfast, we'll explore Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and numerous ancient baobab trees. These baobabs, which serve as a crucial water source for elephants during dry spells, alongside the Tarangire River—the park's lifeline in the dry season—attract wildlife in spectacular numbers, including groups of elephants that can number up to 250. After a day filled with wildlife observation, we'll return to our lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.
